Starting out

• These are 11+ exam level words and beyond. Expect to be challenged & STRETCHed.
• There are 5 core VR quiz types.
• There are 2 mixed quiz types. These mixed quizzes, Omnibus — a review and Speed Round, open after three vaults are unlocked.
• Answer a word correctly in a VR quiz & earn one gold star for that word.
• To MASTER a word, answer it correctly in 3 different VR quizzes = 3 gold stars.
• Answer a question incorrectly and the question will go to the back of the queue for that quiz type — the app waits a bit so you have a chance to remember properly.
• Trouble Words are words you've answered incorrectly more than once. They keep coming back until you master them. You can click to see your list of Trouble Words on your Dashboard.
• Master 75% of the words in a vault & the next vault of words unlocks.

After 3 vaults are unlocked

• The Omnibus — a review and Speed Round VR quizzes open.

After 4 vaults

• Two new quizzes, dedicated to review, unlock: Pure Definition & Retest Mastered.
• Previously MASTERED WORDS come back in these review quizzes to check you still remember them.
• Answer the previously MASTERED WORD correctly in Pure Definition & earn a purple star.
• Answer correctly in Retest Mastered and earn a burgundy star.
• Purple and burgundy stars are yours to keep.
• Answer a previously MASTERED WORD incorrectly in a retest quiz and it loses a gold star — you'll need to master it again. Once the word has 3 gold stars and is a MASTERED WORD again, you'll encounter the word in a review quiz. If you get it incorrect again, the word and content gets kicked back into the 7 main VR quiz types to enable you to master the word fully.
