Cookies & Storage

Last updated: 21 July 2026

STRETCH is unusual, and in your favour: we set no advertising cookies, no tracking cookies, and no third-party marketing cookies. There are none to reject.

Here is everything we store on your device.

What Why How long
Your login session To keep you signed in. Set by Supabase, our database provider Until you sign out, or it expires
stretch.kid So a child who ticks “Remember me” lands straight on their own name next time, rather than typing a code Until cleared, or until they choose another child
stretch.email, stretch.lastRole To remember the email you last used, so you do not retype it Until cleared

The trainer stores your child’s progress on their device

What Why How long
gsw: entries Every word your child has practised, their stars, coins, rank and quiz history. This is what makes the trainer work offline Until cleared

If your child is signed in to STRETCH, this progress is also saved to their STRETCH account so it is not lost if the device is wiped. If they are not signed in, it exists only on that device — and clearing the browser will delete it.

Anonymous visit counting

The trainer counts page visits using GoatCounter. It sets no cookies, stores no personal data, and does not track anyone across sites. It tells us only how many times a page was opened.

Clearing it

You can clear all of this at any time in your browser settings. If you do, a child not signed in to STRETCH will lose their progress, so sign them in — or use the trainer’s Download backup button first.
